Copper Center Community Chapel

We have been working with Copper Center Community Chapel (CCCC) since 1996. The original church was planted by Vince Joy in 1939 and serves the native village of Kluti-Kaah.

This local church is very important part of the Kluti-Kaah (native Ahtna) village in Copper Center, Alaska.  God continues to build His Kingdom in the hearts of people and all of us (followers of Jesus Christ) must continue to ask Him what our part is in doing the work of the Body of Christ (all living Christians).

In 2011, LightShine Alaska was invited to help build the new church under the direction of Craig & Lani Norwood and Alaska Native elder, Ken Johns. Our first team from Mount Joy Mennonite Church started with a 52′ x 100′ cement pad and the building was under roof in one week! Praise the LORD!

One of the ministries of the church is Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp.
