My first experience with LightShine Ministries was to sign up as a team member in 2008 with the very first LightShine team to Globe Creek Camp. I began attending LightShine monthly staff meetings after that and eventually became a team leader and LightShine board member. I understood early in life that God gifted me with the ability to construct and build. LightShine Ministries has provided me the opportunity to serve the people of Alaska by utilizing the gifts he gave me and to serve the body of Christ leading men and women on mission assignments. In addition to serving with LightShine Ministries, I also worked on many Mennonite Disaster Service projects over the years and I worked for Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA for 17 years and retired in 2023. My wife Carol and I live in Harrisburg, worship and fellowship with the body of Christ at Living Water Community Church.
