A student of the Word of God will see patterns that can be applied to interpreting Biblical eschatology. Just as God gave the children of Israel into the hands of the Pharoah in Exodus, He also gave His people into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 1:2. Think about the fact that none of the amazing stories that happened in Daniel (chapters 1-6) would have happened if God’s people were not first tested by a conquering king that took them captive. A wise person should conclude that this could happen today – even in America. The globalists will not stop till they take even America down and set up their one world government. Don’t forget, the Bible says this going to happen – we just don’t know when. In Revelation 13:7 & 15, the Antichrist is granted the ability “to make war with the saints and overcome them”. The prophetic significance of chapters 7-12 of Daniel corresponds with many of the teachings of Jesus Christ (Matthew 24), Paul’s teachings (2 Thessalonians 2) and the entire book of Revelation. Whatever view you hold on eschatology, the Bible teaches that there are saints who do not take the mark of the Beast that become his target for annihilation. Whoever those believers are, it is my view that we are to prepare them for this worldwide persecution. It is also clear that God tells us in Isaiah 60:1-3 that as deep darkness covers the earth, His GLORY will be revealed through His people. I believe it is imperative to prepare your minds to overcome the temptations to give in to the Antichrist’s system. I wrote the lyrics of this song to make you think. How will you prepare yourself and those you love to keep your eyes on Jesus in the midst of great persecution that the Bible clearly predicts is coming? I encourage you to look up all these verses in this song and take this to prayer. – Tom Denlinger
