2026 Estimates

We are trusting the LORD to supply these building materials for completing the garages built in 2025 plus begin to remodel the Bunkhouse into more living area to accommodate more teams.

Missions Base House Garage & Main Garage

Both the House Garage (attached to the Base Director’s House to the right) and the Main Garage (to the left of the Waterhouse, now have garage doors. We need to install wood siding on both of our new garages. This wood siding will be hand coated with a durable oil base polyurethane finish before being installed.  CLICK HERE for a more detailed description for our first “Siding Team” that will be arriving on May 23.

We will also be applying a stone veneer around the base of both garages and the house. CLICK HERE for a more detailed description for our “Stone Mason Team” that will be arriving on June 19.  This is very important to protect the lower exterior of those buildings from deep snow that comes off the roof and lays against the buildings till spring.

Inside the Main Garage, we need to insulate one section of the garage that will be used year round. We will also be building a small office area and building new shelves to move all the current shelving and storage of tools down from the Bunkhouse. We will be building loft areas for storage and stairs to access that area. Here is a breakdown of the building materials needed for these two garages:

Siding – $15,000

Stone Veneer – $25,000

Insulation – $15,000

Electric (New Service from Pole, Interior Wiring, Fixtures and Lighting)- $4,500

Wall & Ceiling OSB – $2,200

Paint – $1,400

Framing – (lofts, stairs and office walls) – $3,300

Shelving (built into the wall) in Workshop – $1,500

Equipment Rental (high reach lift for installing siding) – $5,000

Hardware (Nails, Fasteners, etc.) – $500

Contingency (10% of above) – $7,340

Labor – $10,000

TOTAL – $90,740.00


Bunkhouse Interior Remodel

We need more living area and bathrooms for teams! This photo was taken in December 2025. The three garage doors were removed and installed on the new garages (2) on the House Garage & (1) on the Main Garage. Once we move all the garage related items (tools, shelving) that are currently in the lower part of the Bunkhouse and take them to the Main Garage, we will begin laying out the new floor plan for turning that area into more living space for our team members. The end goal is to have the women stay downstairs and men upstairs. Additional bathrooms will be installed as well.

Framing – $3,000

Insulation for Floor – $2,000

Electric – $1,500

Drywall – $5,000

Paint – $2,000

Hardware (Nails, Fasteners, etc.) – $250

Doors – $4,000

Windows – $400

2 Bathrooms – $2,000

Heating System (propane like house) – $15,000

Contingency (10% of above) – $3,515

Labor – $10,000

TOTAL – $48,665.00


TOTAL for both projects at the LightShine Missions Base for 2026 is $139,405.00
