Globe Creek Camp has an awesome ministry in the Fairbanks region of Alaska. The camp is located 37 miles north of Fairbanks on the Elliot Highway. Take time to watch this video from Camp Director – Mike Dynes.
There is really nothing else out there but the camp! The camp is “off grid” which means there is no electrical service available. The camp runs on generators and the love of Jesus Christ which comes from the people who work there!
In the July of 2007, Tom Denlinger and Rob Paire traveled with Candy Sunderland to meet camp director, Mike Dynes at Globe Creek Camp. Our desire is to help ministries with a clear vision for making disciples of Jesus Christ and anyone who ever met Mike will tell you that he loves people and wants to see them walking with His LORD. LightShine Ministries sent our first team to work at the camp in 2008. That year we helped Mike build two cabins. Here are some photos of from that year.
